Baths for the Brave Spotlight – Constance Snavely

LEBANON, PA – On Friday, November 8, West Shore Home participated in the Baths for the Brave event. The home improvement company identified six veterans across all of the regions that they serve and gave them a free shower or tub replacement as a way to thank them for their service.

Meet Constance Snavely of Lebanon, PA. Constance is a retired US Army veteran who served her country for 23 years. During her service, Constance received multiple awards and recognitions including the Knowlton Award for Professional Excellence in Military Intelligence. In 1997, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which eventually lead to her retirement from active duty.

In her retirement, Constance is still heavily involved in veteran organizations. She is currently the Vice President of the Pennsylvania State Veterans Commission, a member of the Pennsylvania War Veterans Council’s Honor Guard Committee and is also an active member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

“This was a project that was on my ever-growing to-do list,” Constance explained to West Shore Home. “If I have an issue that becomes major, it’s a little late to decide to [replace my tub with a shower]”.
